Ne-Yo Walks Offstage In Manchester

Last night’s Ne-Yo show in Manchester, England, was cut short early for unknown reasons—the smooth R & B singer left the stage about a half-hour into his performance, although according to members of the audience, he was visibly struggling with his performance for most of his abbreviated set. At one point he broke into tears, saying that he’d never quit a performance before, and he eventually walked offstage. Someone was there with a video camera, and has footage of the incident that, thanks to some screens at the arena, has an angle that’s very up-close and personal to the point of it being sort of uncomfortable.





The Concrete Loop reader who sent in the above clip said that Ne-Yo’s exit was immediately followed by the promoter telling the crowd that the show would be rescheduled. I sincerely hope he gets well soon—and that he gets enough rest to properly heal. (The guy is very busy, you know.)
