Chris Brown has released a two-minute videotaped statement apologizing for the domestic violence incident involving him and Rihanna that took place over Grammy weekend earlier this year. In the statement, Brown says that he’s going against the advice of his attorneys to apologize both to Rihanna and his fans, and that he’s actively working to seek help so he can once again deserve the term “role model.” He seems pretty impassioned, and he notes that he’s personally apologized to Rihanna “countless” times.
