I settled on Beck because of his genre/style changes and hip-hop influence, ties to Scientology/Hollywood, shout out the Mexican community ("Guero") and a variety of other reasons. If only I could write it like Jess has here. Great job. Instead, I'll just say Beck = LA (and hope that Maura does a friday post opening this up for everyone to comment).
