i appreciate the flip of the lollipop sample, and the play on rap themes in the title of their other single, “my life, my swag”, but i just really cannot get down with this balearic shit
i love this record. as with all these Sincerely Yours outfits, they’re getting Saint Etienne comparisons, but there’s something vaguely Everything But the Girl-ish about the jj record that really appeals to me.
