It got great ratings for Letterman when U2 were on the show for the whole week. Leno had to counter with Prince shortly after that for most of a week. He's going to struggle with this new show. Half of his bits are Letterman rip offs, including one his most popular "Headlines". Letterman has sucked a lot lately and he desperately needs new writers, but he's sitting pretty ratings wise now.
