Beyonce And Jay-Z's Blue Ivy Trademark: An Expert Explains
They received approval on August 23 — five days before Beyoncé announced her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards. What do you think about Beyoncé and Jay-Z trademarking Blue Ivy's name? Let us know in the comments!

  1. I love how there are no comments on this post. Nobody really cares about who wins these awards (except, I guess, Kanye), and certainly nobody can remember who won what a year or two later. It’s all about the hijinx at the awards show. Besides that they’re completely disposable, in part because MTV, as of the last decade, hasn’t really shown music videos.

  2. After reading all the “Kanye was right” comments on the other thread I went and looked up the previous winners of the award, only to realize that I didn’t really care beyond “Video of the Year”, and even that has been a travesty at times.
