Madonna And Lil Wayne Go To The Gun Show

madonnawayneThe Madonna/Lil Wayne collaboration “Revolver,” which is going to appear on Madge’s forthcoming greatest-hits package Celebration, has made its way to the Internet in higher quality than previous leaks. The song is a jaunty little romp with enough references to gunplay to make me think that it’s not going to be released as a single, what with everyone being afraid to even think about bearing metaphoric pop-music arms these days. Clip after the jump.

It should also be said that this thing sounds like the below thing, only with censor-ready gun metaphors instead of censor-ready obscenity spellings:

blah blah blah tries too hard to be “current” etc, what is it with EVERYTHING from I Kissed a Girl to Uprising to Radar to this having the swung beat from Strict Machine?

With that said, I find Revolver a LOT less obnoxious - shame they halved the length of Weezy’s vocal from the demo, he’s cut off just as he’s about to get started.
