Love it. The part that is sheer genius is that the girl is only 21 years old. The video is AWESOME and the song is addictive. The first time i heard it I wasn’t impressed but it’s grown on me since seeing the video and now I am a Ke$ha fan!

This is kind of spectacular in that it is very 2009 and very American. She reminds me of almost a dozen girls I consistently run into on Friday nights downtown, all full of bravado and cheap beer and throwing signs like damn fools. I think it’s dreadful, but like Nunya B upthread there is something wonderful to me about embracing trash culture without a clear understanding irony or shame. I have no doubt that this will do very well.

@cassidy2099: Exactly what I was thinking! I love Uffie, however she really needs to release a full album some time soon. I like the sound, but the lyrics make me cringe some times.

@cassidy2099: Aw...I have a soft spot in my heart for Sprout, Hesta & Spero. They had a kick-ass live show that never really translated to their recorded stuff, which I admit is all pretty dire. Still, fun band, nice gals, and far better than...I've forgotten her name already.
