Backstreet’s Back… At The Doctor

Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell was diagnosed with the swine flu yesterday, one day before the release of his group’s seventh album and just as the guys were about to kick off a run of promo appearances related to the record’s launch. In the above video, a very close-to-the-monitor Littrell apologizes to his fans for the inconvenience, and I have to say that even though I know he’s sick, I’m kind of surprised with how utterly lousy he looks! I mean, I know that this particular strain of flu can be fatal in some cases, but does it always really kick the afflicted person’s metaphorical ass that badly? Because if it does, I am so stocking up on vaccines and vitamins and whatever other preventative measures. [YouTube
