@perfectomix: THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one… That was the first thing I noticed about the cover, and I couldn’t stop staring at it! “Disturbing” was only one of the words that came to mind, alongside “WTF?!”.
That DOES explain the pout… someone should tell him that pouting does not work in these situations. But then again, neither do blue arrows. Oh well, there are many a thing wrong with this cover…

Why do these not quite covers but definitely more than a sample songs even exist? Do the producers get some sort of a tax break for making them? Is there some way we can make this illegal?

I can’t decide what about this to turn into an old lady about more, but I’m going to go with the “OH HOW YOU DOOO MEEEE” descant near the end.

Also, sorely tempted to sneak into a Justin Bieber concert and throw actual five-button cardigans on the stage, carrying the dual message a) How dare you do this to a song I don’t even really care about, and b) Put this on that girl you’re fingering.
