Like everyone I find this whole mess very insulting. Not only for the well-mentioned lack of intros but the suddenness made it sound like Maura was gagged from talking about it until basically they told her ‘Don’t let the door hit you on the ass on your way out’. It is just so disrespectful to Maura and the readers. These so-called ‘writers’? It just sounds like they had to throw in some hacks (or bots) so there wasn’t white space on the page while the powers-that-be decide what to do with the blog. I would’ve much preferred that it just got frozen until whatever changes were to come.

Whatever, for what it’s worth, that’s my 2¢. I can’t see me sticking along much longer if this change is what passes for music writing nowdays. Then again, that was probably the plan as someone had mentioned in one of the comments.
