Kelly Clarkson should have been a nominee but I can’t say the same about Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift!!And yes Kelly is the best pop singer out there and I don’t get why she isn’t nominated when at the same time Rolling Stone magazine has nominated her as artist of the decade!And trust there is no Carrie Underwood nor Taylor Swift nominated there!!WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!

I don’t think its fair for Taylor Swift to be nominated for best pop album and best country album. She is only winning all the awards because Kanye West interrupted her during the VMAs and all the awards associations feel sorry for her. I personally love Lady Gaga! Her fifth single is going to be her 5th consecutive #1 single. I mean come on, what artists do that. I think that she deserves alot of credit.

I am disgusted that Kelly Clarkson is not a nominee for favorite female artist. They did not even list her on the ballot for the voting. She has the best voice out there. She can sing any one of these other ladies under the table. She can sing anything and everything. I just do not understand how the greatest singer of the decade is not on the ballot at all?????????

Sure, the backlash would have happened. But it would have been more focused. As rough as yesterday’s posts were, some of the comments – and particularly the Daily Swarm coverage – made me want to take a shower.

Oh, well. It was good theater. Maybe this was all about those precious pageviews.

@onsloot: Imagine if you’d explained everything YESTERDAY. I actually disagree. Given the amount of love for Maura, they were gonna take in on the chin no matter what. It was probably best to take their lumps and then get some goodwill back with an intro post. If they posted the intro first, and then posted the crap offered yesterday, they wouldn't have had any carrot to offer to the pissed off masses.

Everything seems a lot calmer in here since that cute robot drawing cleared up the confusion. The writers seem more confident and likable. And the old readers are, however reluctantly, accepting the change. Imagine if you’d explained everything YESTERDAY.
