Today came the announcement from Lady Gaga’s website that The Fame Monster will be released on November 23. It kinda feels this information already made the rounds weeks ago, but apparently it hasn’t been official till now.
Another bit of news: “Telephone,” Gaga’s duet with Beyonce, will follow “Bad Romance” as the second single off the new album. This isn’t to be confused with the remix of “Video Phone,” the other Beyonce/Lady Gaga duet that will appear on the deluxe edition re-release of B’s I Am… Sasha Fierce (also out November 23).
Or maybe the two songs are meant to be confused together? Oh, well—here’s a behind the scenes clip of the making of the “Bad Romance” video until this all gets sorted out (i.e., each song leaks):
I am convinced this is one big, albeit months and months late, April Fools Day prank. Seriously. This is news? Or is it just another chance for Robbie to wax on Lady Gaga?

I’m well aware of my status in the blogger world (small-time, medium talent), and I think I could still write something more interesting and thought-provoking than this. Robbie and Becky, consider yourselves on notice.
Really, what I think we’re all wondering here is, what do YOU, the blogger, think about what’s been handed to you? You ARE capable of thinking, right?

i love the new gaga ish – she’s making people care about the art form of music video again and i’m all for that.
i’ll also say again that gaga is the most interesting thing and the biggest thing in pop right now – obviously she is news worthy on idolator since this is more or less a “pop music” blog

@thumper: Gaga is a big deal, true. Not big enough to dominate coverage the last three days like she has, though. (Not her fault, actually, but Robbie’s for not digging very deep into the music news well.)
i’ll agree there – maybe universal music bought idolator and is using this as a marketing tool now :(
Beyonce & Lady Gaga, both extremely intelligent and talented woman, what a powerful combo, falta SHakira!!!
Both these songs leaked. “Telephone” is a pretty good dance tune, and Beyonce’s delivery of her verse actually adds a lot to it. I really like the extended intro and dance break in the new “Video Phone.”
For what it’s worth, brasstax, you were right. I don’t think I like the new idolator, and I think even if it were just a lady gaga fansite I could be doing it better.
