Lady Gaga Makes ‘Gossip Girl’ Watchable

Here’s a sneak peek of Monday’s Gossip Girl featuring Lady Gaga, performing “Bad Romance.” Thankfully, the idea of being a distracting celebrity musical guest doesn’t seem to weigh Gaga down, and she makes her mini-performance just as wacky as you’d expect it to be. (Plus, I want that neverending red gown, and the dress-waving men to go with it. Do you think they have a cheapo version of that at Forever 21?)

Is anyone going to watch this ep of GG now that almost all of Gaga’s guest appearance has been leaked online?

    This has been bothering me for days, and I've got to say it somewhere: Not sure what I hate more -- the people who despise her very existence and complain whenever there's a post about her, or the people who post about her every nanosecond and pretend to like her, but who are really doing the equivalent of "point and laugh at the freak".

    I think you all kind of suck.

  • @Mr. Middletown: Gaga content is fine, as I mentioned in one of the other ten Gaga posts this week so far. I like her! But there's no way everything she's done or is doing needs to be chronicled here. This ISN'T the Gaga newsletter (or maybe it is).

    I came by to see how the new writers are working out since I heard there's a lot of nasty commenting going on, and one of the first things I see is that you misspelled "musical."

    Nice. Maybe try writing your posts in Word and running spellcheck before posting.

  • You know, like, most browsers underline misspelled words in red (handy!) in free text entry boxes, including WYSIWYG text editors in content management systems like WordPress. LOOK INTO IT.

    Gossip Girl has been watchable for a while now. I'll give you that this season has not been great, but those first two were golden.

    Is it sad that that phrase made me more angry than any of the errors?
