If real life therapy was anything like what’s going on in this video — Robin Thicke’s “Sex Therapy,” in which everyone’s feeling up models in a giant mansion while eating chocolate covered strawberries — we’d probably go more often. Polow Da Don’s slow-jam production has made this one a song to watch since it first appeared, and the clip doesn’t disappoint. Super sexy video after the jump:
The man can work the falsetto. We’re actually kind of dying to hear it again alongside Lil Wayne, who may well be the next to join a list of guests that includes Jay-Z, Estelle, Kid Cudi and Snoop Dogg.

Robin Thicke: "I'd duet with Barack Obama any day" Robin Thicke has expressed his appreciation of Barack Obama's singing abilities. The US President surprised many by singing a couple of lines of 'Let's Stay Together' at a campaign fundraiser last week in tribute to Al Green, who was in attendance.
Paula Patton and Robin Thicke Owe The IRS Too Just last week, we’ve reported the Simmons Sisters’ tax problems. Apparently there’s one more pair in Hollywood that has a similar problem with the IRS. Actress Paula Patton, who played Tom Cruise’s partner in “Mission Impossible – Ghost ...
Okay, you guys know that there are more than 20 different people currently recording and releasing music, don’t you? Either double the amount of posts you write each day to compensate for overlooked artists, or diversify what you’re already doing. (I’m aware my grievance is basically aimed at a brick wall, but maybe someone somewhere is looking in.)
Not to mention — is Buzznet aware that nobody actually watches music videos anymore? I mean, absolutely nobody. It’s a relatively dead medium. Not even Riki Rachtman, God bless him, gives a damn anymore.
wouldn’t say it’s a dead medium — viewership has just shifted online (checking total views of videos on YouTube show this). Also, music video channels are still very popular in other parts of the world where you can find multiple music video channels (other than MTV)
Point taken about youtube, but when was the last time there was a video you absolutely had to check for, or had to watch again after you saw it once? Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy” ain’t walking back through that door. And number of views on youtube mean little to me; people will watch anything if it’s e-mailed to them. 17 million people have watched the Dramatic Chipmunk.
As for your second point — if this site is for some reason actually targeting everyone but America, the whole thing may start to make more sense…
Videos are still made so that fans of the act can stay busy voting for said videos in various VH1/MTV polls, thus keeping the denser but more devoted fans from spending their entire days crocheting sweaters for their idols’ dogs, cats, and goldfish. This is my theory, and I’m sticking to it.
As distractions go, though, you’d think something cheaper to make would work.
Hahah well I’m far from corporate but I understand what you’re saying. I still like watching music videos, but you are right, I will watch them once out of curiosity online and that’s about it. (I refuse to pay an extra $5 a month to Comcast to get MTV Hits, mostly because i fear that tiny lesbian Justin Beiber)
Anyone else sick of brasstax yet?? Anyone? Anyway, Robin Thicke will creep me out forever and always – reminds me too much of Alan Thicke, and I can’t handle a sexy version of Alan Thicke.
ZOMBIEBOT NOT SICK OF BRASSTAX YET. BRASSTAX LAST REMNANT OF IDOLATOR 1.0. ZOMBIEBOT WILL CRY DIGITIZED TEAR WITH CESSATION OF BELLIGERENT, YET ENDEARING BRASSTAX MUSINGS.
BRASSTAX COMPLAINS BECAUSE HE MISSES WHAT HE ONCE HAD. 3 SOLID YEARS OF IDOLATOR 1.0. WHY DID YOU JOIN NOW? DID POTENT MIX OF JUSTIN BIEBER/LADY GAGA/BRITNEY SPEARS POSTINGS SUCK YOU INTO MATRIX OF IDOLATOR 2.0? QUERY?
@ZOMBIEBOT-C37 Britney Spears posts are nothing new to this blog I Joined fall of 2007 from a link to that lead me here about the gimmie more music video and Ive had it bookmarked ever since I never registered till this year (TotallyN2Music) but it was only to participate in the VMA live blog which Ive always enjoyed.
You haven’t even given the new people a chance comparisons to what they’ve replaced isn’t going to help none either, you should just move on. Theres no point in sticking around just to spew your negativity around ever little thing you can find.
Move on or learn to be more patient (or patient in general for that matter)
@Mr. Middletown: You’re missing the point, Middletown. Britney Spears posts didn’t used to be paraphrases of new release ad copy. Even the times Robbie or Becky have posted about Britney (or her twitter account) doing something actually news-y, it’s either been full of dud jokes or questionably so inconsequential it might not have even warranted a post in the first place. These editors need an editor.
So, Middletown, let me get this straight – you’re a long time follower of the site, yet barely posted in those 2+ years.
In the last week, I think I’ve seen you comment on virtually every post no matter how banal, leading me to believe that you wildly prefer the new format of rehashing Britney Spears and Lady Gaga press releases.
If you were new to the site, I would understand it. However, I lose all respect for anybody who was around for both eras and actually PREFERS this one. Good god.
Please explain to me how anybody who has frequented this site since 2007 could prefer the last two weeks of postings.
@CryingInside: I really don’t see how you’ve come to this conclusion that I prefer the “new format of rehashing Britney Spears and Lady Gaga press releases” considering I haven’t commented on a single Britney Spears post and about two Lady GaGa posts.
At the very most I have just been taking advantage of actually not having to sign in to comment.

@Jaxie825: You don’t want me to turn that question around and ask it about you, trust me.
I’ve only been here a little while. I just don’t understand why you put so much time and effort into complaining. Enjoy life!
