There is a reason they didn’t pick Kris – it’s because he isn’t sexy!! He doesn’t have sex appeal. His appeal is more of a cuteness factor. Kind of like a puppy dog. Sexy – not by a long shot. Lambert has sex appeal

Amen to JustMe. You hit the nail squarely on the head of all of Adam’s attributes! There’s no one finer, more handsome or sexier than Adam Lambert right now. “Adorable” just doesn’t do it for me! Adam’s voice reaches deep inside and grabs your heart and soul – oy! Can’t get enough of him and his new song “Soaked”! Adam sizzles and excites. His entire album is great entertaining music!

Well I definitely would leave Adam on the list. As far as I’m concerned, he should have made the cover, but I’ll take Johnny Depp as a second choice. (How in the world could you call Johnny a boring choice?) As for Adam “being on every frigging list” — well, perhaps that’s because so many frigging people WANT him. And, I agree with another respondent here: Daughtry deserves it over Mayer, because Mayer is a self-absorbed creep. John Mayer may be physically attractive, and hey, he’s talented too — but personality factors a lot into a person’s sexiness, and he flops in that category. As for those puny little guys from Cobra Starship? No thanks.

Adam is a SEXY BEAST. His sexual orientation has nothing to do with it. Kris is ‘cute’ but Adam is classically handsome. As the writer concurs, Kris is adorable but Adam is drop dead gorgeous. Kris has an appealing face but Adam has Adonis-like bone structure. And that smile! Those perfect teeth!
Those tantalizing blue eyes that pierce into your soul!
Kris’ personality is non-existent. Adam is a bubbling sparkling champagne. Kris is boring in conversation. Adam is articulate, eloquent and a very interesting conversationalist. Kris may have humor but Adam is very witty, sharp and knowledgeable. Kris is a simple man and kinda static. Adam is intriguing and a dynamo.
Kris has thinning hair and receding hairline. Adam just has a delightful eye catching mane. Adam has trendy dress sense while Kris could not care less.
Kris is tiny and is just a face in the crowd. Adam is elegant and stands out in a crowd. Adam’s presence commands attention and captures your eyes in a crowd. He has that IT written all over him that can’t be ignored.
Kris, as Simon said, ‘looks like you’re just standing at the bus stop’. You can just walk pass by him and not miss anything. Adam even just standing on stage is dripping with charisma, magnetism and sex appeal. And don’t even ask him to sing!
Kris is so predictable, bland and boring. Adam excites and thrills. He knows exactly who he is, what he wants and sure of himself and knows he has that power in him and knows he is in control. All these are very attractive to women and makes a man sexy to women even without the physical attributes.
Adam can be the best friend of anyone knowing you have a hell lot of good time together conversing, partying and shopping. And when you’re down, he is there for you with kindness and help and an ear to listen and with words of wisdom. Being there for you is already uplifting. People have said when he talks to you, all his attention is focused on you as if you’re the only one in the room. Let you feel you matter.
Adam’s laugh is authentic and comes from his soul. Adam is a man with a dynamic mind, heart and soul and a maturity so admirable but still vulnerable. To me, the totality of Adam is simply SEXY!
Wish Leila gave birth to octuplets! LOL! Where can I find another Adam???

I know for a fact that Kris Allen made this Sexiest men issue. In fact 4 Idols did — Adam, Kris, Chris Daughtry and David Cook. Maybe some of these other singers you suggest also made the issue? The website only listed a few of the people who made the issue — not all 100.

I totally would want to do Adam (yes, I know he’s gay!). Adam is sexy because he’s comfortable with who he is. He isn’t afraid of showing both his masculine and feminine side. I love that! He also has those beautiful blue eyes.

Also, I’m not a Daughtry fan, but he is alot sexier than John Mayer. John Mayer is a self absorbed creep.

Neither the Men of Glee or Cobra Starship are worth mentioning.

Adam fits the bill just fine. He may not be attainable for heterosexual women,but I’ll take that 6’1″ magnificent specimen of a man (in my dreams) anyday!!

There seems to be a difference of opinion here of what it means for a guy to be sexy… I totally disagree that if you want to “do” him, that means he’s sexy. Chaucer wrote hundreds of years ago a truth about sex that remains to this day – that what women crave is the sexual power they have over men. Women want to be desired… To me, a man who makes a woman feel like a woman, who appreciates her sexual power, is very, very sexy. Kris fits the bill. Listen to his new song Can’t Stay Away from You. “I’m standing at your door, cause I want more… more, more, more, more… and then he HOWLS… Sends tingles all the way to my toes. He’s all male which makes me appreciate being female and the power we have over men. Kris is sexy because he makes ME feel sexy and powerful… I have no desire to “do” him – he’s too young for me and he’s married – but his masculine good looks, soulful voice, and song lyrics awaken my femininity and I definitely go looking for my man…My husband LOVES it when I listen to Kris Allen…
