Heather, if you were a “lay blog consumer” as you claim, I doubt you’d be analyzing Nu-Idolator’s “target audience” in the same breath as your every(wo)man protestations.

i think what gaga used wasn’t a real grand. it was just some keyboard, put into a grand piano look-a-like frame. that wooden frame was the one that’s burned.

@brasstax… It’s awfully pretentious, to say the least, and completely obnoxious, to be sure, to be so incredibly lacking in wit and insight, yet criticize someone else’s supposed lack thereof so effusively!
Also, in the blogger’s defense, I thought it was quite funny, and showed real pop culture understanding (and I’m a lay blog consumer – aka her target audience).

I’ve stayed away for days, but had to come back and see if something like this happened. I wish I hadn’t.

Bex (can I call you ‘Bex’?), maybe you should’ve tried warming up on a different show without ever posting. Like, say, liveblogging ‘Property Virgins’ on HGTV or something… for a straight week. Y’know, until you got your chops down. You say you’re a comic, but this actually works against your believability.

@LeBron: Nice analysis. Who the hell at Buzznet thought it would be a good idea to “liveblog” an event, but wait until the pacific coast feed?

Either Idolator 2.0 doesn’t have room in their budget for satellite TV, or Becky didn’t want to start “work” at 5 pm PST on a Sunday.
