R. Kelly Wants To Take You Behind the Middle School And Get You ‘Pregnant’

r-kelly-untitled1Okay, that was Tracy Jordan, not R. Kelly, but it may as well be. R. Kelly dropped his song “Pregnant” off his upcoming album Untitled (seriously, Kel? You couldn’t think of one thing to call it?). The slow jam features The-Dream, Robin Thicke, and, yes, even model-turned-actor-turned rapper Tyrese. Hey, why not! Everybody come on board, it’s a party! In fact, that’s exactly how R. Kelly wrote his album—nonstop partying.

Says Kelly,

“For three months straight, I threw a party at my house every weekend. I can’t go to the clubs anymore because as soon as I walk in, I’m on YouTube. But I love to party… so I brought the party home… like 200 girls come over… I’d play the music and see how they would react… if they didn’t feel it, I’d go back downstairs and rework it.”

Maybe he should have invited us to one of his parties, because, in between Patron shots, we would have happily given him the note that although the concept of having children with your lover can be very romantic, repeatedly singing the phrase “I wanna get you pregnant (knock you up!)… and put that girl in my kitchen” sounds more like a threat than a term of endearment. That said, we can’t wait to see this video.

Untitled is out December 1. Pick it up, along with a pack of condoms, unless you’re willing to take the chance of possibly getting knocked up by R. Kelly.

R. Kelly Just Wants to Populate on New Single, 'Share My Love'
On R. Kelly's last album, Love Letter, the King of R&B sang homages to the soul ballads that filled up '60s radios. For his next one, he might leap a decade ahead to the decadent '70s. His new single, "Share Your Love," off the upcoming Write Me ...

  1. 1. The 30 Rock joke is only funny in the rarest of occasions anymore, and even then it needs modification.
    2. He could think of one thing to call it. Untitled. That’s its name. If it were really an untitled album, it would be called R. Kelly.
    3. Pee jokes about R. Kelly are still funny, and you failed to use one at all.

    1) The pregnant joke was funny in 30 Rock because it was oft-repeated and not even funny. See? Funny.
    2) I imagined you saying that as Mandark from Dexter’s Laboratory with your eyes closed and one finger in the air.
    3) I agree, there should be a pee joke somewhere.
