While you were stuffing your gourd with turkey yesterday, Katherine McPhee was earning a paycheck at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Kath performed “Have It All” off her upcoming album Unbroken, standing on a colorful Jimmy Dean float that other Idol runner-up Adam Lambert would probably have felt more at home on. And if you had any doubts that Americans truly do not care if their performers lip-synch, check out the clip above. (Though Kath certainly wasn’t the only one guilty of mouthing the words in front of millions of freezing New Yorkers.) Other heavily-mimed T-Day performances after the jump:
Jay Sean – “Down”
KeKe Palmer – “Top of the World”
Anyone else miss that Glee float like us?

Katrine is so good live I’m very impressed with her and I actually like the song.
KeKe has a surprisingly good voice even tho she wasn’t actually singing live very cute nonetheless.
? The Superbowl and Macy’s parade has always been lip-synced or playback. Everyone knows that, and doesn’t care as long as performers don’t lip-sync any other times. I didn’t think it was a big deal. Too many weird logistics and sound stuff no one wants to deal with. *shrug* The Broadway numbers were playback too.
I thought Katherine MçPhee was very convincing, I even commented to my sister that she was the most believable in her “singing”
