The Black Eyed Peas Announce Tour Dates And Take Over Your TV

bepWe’re figuring the Black Eyed Peas are one of the safer bets when Grammy nominations are announced tonight. Hell, they’re even performing at the televised GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!—Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night this evening, when the official nods will be made public.

So with all the hoopla and boom-boom-powing, it makes sense that the seemingly tireless band would also choose to announce their upcoming world tour yesterday, pop up on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that aired on CBS last night and be featured artists this month on Walmart Soundcheck.

Catch the North American dates for The E.N.D. World Tour and a clip of the Peas from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after the jump.

As for all the BEP media-whoring, here’s a quote from will.i.am from the CBS site for the Victoria’s Secret shindig: “We are in the middle of a really defining time right now. It’s the end of the traditional era of how we experience and consume music and media.”

Now feel free to experience and consume “Meet Me Halfway.” (Sorry, the mental capacity for ever hearing “Boom Boom Pow” again has been filled, so not gonna post that one.)

As for the Black Eyed Peas’ upcoming trek across the globe, their official site promises the tour “proves The Energy Never Dies with a feast for the senses for hundreds of thousands of fans. The tour will also be ‘green,’ with a unique charitable component to be announced in the weeks ahead.”

  1. I am SHOCKED that Jacksonville made the list! I may actually have to go and see them now. No more excuses.

  2. I like the Peas’, its just something really weird happens when there performing live I dont Know how to explain it but its just abit awkward and hard to watch.

    Good luck to them nonetheless.

  3. Agree with you Mr. Middletown: Their sound doesn’t mesh very well live. In studio, they’re seamless.

Love their music and even more pumped for T-Pain to be opening the show for them. A perfect crowd energizer not that BEP needs any help. It will make for a great show.
