If you caught the 36-second preview of Nick Jonas’ new single “Who I Am” here last week, then you’ve pretty much seen the whole movie. Seventeen-year-old Jonas and his side project The Administration took to the stage at The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!—Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night last night and belted out the full song, which basically starts with the same few guitar chords and never lets up. (And is it just us or does it feel like he repeats the chorus at least 47 times?)
Maybe the studio version is a bit more lively, you may be wondering. Well, your Jonas ship has come in—Ocean Up posted it last night! Hop below to compare and contrast the live and single versions of “Who I Am.”

The studio version of “Who I Am”

That performance was painful, the song isnt too shabby however I get Hanson vibes from it.
Also can we never associate this site with anything Ocean-Up ever again?
Well. *shrug*
And LOL @ your OceanUp comment, Mr. Middletown. It feels weird to agree with you.
This was such an exciting performance for Nick and all his supporters.
“Who I Am” is exactly the type of song I picture Nick writing all by himself in his room at night, reflects on him perfectly.
(A good kid with a good heart and head on his shoulders who just loves music more than almost anything).
Saying it was his first performance “solo” style, very entertaining and musical.
I loved seeing the auidence react to it.
Quite an artist for a 17 year old, eh?
It was insanley noticible that he belongs on that stage with a center spotlight. Never seen him seem that happy in a while.
Great job, Nick!
Can’t wait for tour and to hear all the new songs.
You got this! :)
