Lady Gaga’s Unreleased ‘Kandy Life’ Leaks

Following the leak of Lady Gaga and Rodney Jerkins’ “Reloaded” last week, another unreleased Gaga track has hit the Internet. “Kandy Life” is a piano/synth-driven slow jam that incorporates bits of the Chordettes’ classic “Lollipop” (originally performed by Ronald & Ruby in 1958) in its hook.

Overall, like “Reloaded,” “Kandy Life” isn’t too bad, though definitely not blow-your-mind fantastic. Still, if this is the stuff that was considered not good enough to make the cut for The Fame (“Kandy Life” apparently goes back a few years) and The Fame Monster—keep the leaks coming!

Hop below to have a listen to Lady Gaga’s latest unearthed confection.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga gave away a few tour secrets to MTV in a story published this morning. She says that in addition to Denmark’s Alphabeat opening for her when she takes the Monster Ball to the U.K. in February, she’s scrapping her entire current set in favor of a new one.

“Well, just to give you an idea, the stage is about four times the size of the one we’re on now and conceptually, it’s completely different,” Gaga said. “One thing that has been lost over the past 10-15 years, in pop music, is the idea of showbiz. And this is definitely going to bring that back.”

Okay, surely she’s not getting rid of the entire set, right?

“I’m throwing out the stage. My team thinks I’m completely psychotic,” Gaga admits. “But I don’t f—ing care what they think.”

Well, perhaps her her team should reserve truly deeming anything to do with Lady Gaga “completely psychotic” until they get a load of the Sims version of “Bad Romance.”
