While 2009 was a great year for music, it proved to the be the latest sign that album cover art is in a serious state of decline. This year produced some real doozies, as you'll see. This ranking of 2009’s Top 15 Worst Album Covers is essentially infallible, because it's based on science: we ran all these covers by Nobel Prize-winning physicist Charles K. Kao and Fields Medal winner Andrei Okounkov, who both agreed that everything on this list f'g blows. Can you guess whose album cover landed at #1? We’ll give you a hint: it’s not Chris Brown's.
This is actually an interesting album cover considering the song “Man of the Hour” is also on this CD.
“Man of the Hour” basically descibes the trials of love and says the relationships between people and dogs are much happier and more fufilling (except when they die at the end).
That white dress looks like a wedding dress to me, and the St Bernard is in the position of the groom.
Whether this works for you is a matter of how you take the message. It could be considered a snub at men, but I don’t see it that way, as I agree with her.
