A pair of tracks from Christina Milian’s forthcoming Elope album have leaked, both of which were produced by Tricky Stewart and Milian’s Twitter-ranting husband The-Dream.
The first song, “I’m Sexy,” channels Janet Jackson circa, oh, the past nine year or so. Particularly, it has shades of Janet’s “All Nite (Don’t Stop)” and her “sexy sexy” 2008 tune “Feedback”—which might not be the sound Christina should be copping if she wants to distinguish herself from the other ladies of R&B/pop this time around!
Christina Milian - I'm Sexy“Welcome To Vegas,” on the other hand, sounds like a clear-cut winner, despite the fact that once again there seems to be something quite familiar about that reverberating synth riff. Maybe it’s a bit too Usher/”Love In This Club”?
