Mariah Carey is the latest artist to face the dreaded album release date push-back (though, really, this is nothing new for her). Despite the lead singles from MC’s Angel’s Advocate doing the rounds online already—the finger-waving “Up Out My Face” featuring the sassy raps of Nicki Minaj, and the smooth Ne-Yo-assisted ballad “Angels Cry”—the remix album has now been bumped back a few weeks, says her main fan site.
Is that a screamin’ Mimi we hear?
“Mariah’s new album Angel’s Advocate, originally scheduled for release on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, has been pushed back,” announced Mariah Daily Journal in a post today. “The new release date currently is Tuesday, March 9, 2010.”
Angel’s Advocate was initially set to go toe-to-toe with Erykah Badu’s New Amerykah Part II: Return of the Ankh, but as Rap-Up now reports, that LP has been pushed back, as well (to March 16).
Now Mimi will have a diva-off with new releases from Monica and Natalie Merchant—that is, if the tipsy speech-giver’s record doesn’t get delayed once again.
geez, stop spreading rumors the album is not delayed as it never had an official release date!

This lame remix album is just another way for her to make money and avoid loosing her face in the music industry these days.

and mariah invented the remix.. as said by MTV with her early career defining moments with dreamlover club mixes and fantasy with odb.. she was one of the first re-release success stories with the MIMI platinum eiditon. people these day's do what she already did FIRST.. I agree with LMAO/ And to reality chic,. If you ever read interviews on why she has done this is because teh music industry are a bunch of tards and not using the internet to help with sales. People are stealing music so she has found a way to combat this by creatively doing things to combat this like a remix album and a repackaged cd.or a bonus cds.artists dont make money on record sales anymore. . You may not like her reality chic but you have to appreciate her as a business woman and a talented artist
