Preview Nick Jonas’ ‘Who I Am’ Album And Decide If He Has The Funk

Nick Jonas and the AdministrationSome naughty YouTuber has posted clips of Nick Jonas And The Administration’s Who I Am album. Do you think you can you handle this much funk from the youngest of the JoBro trio?

There are plenty of tween-scream-inducing guitar licks, voice-cracking vocals and angsty ballads to be found on the semi-bluesy debut LP from Nick’s side project, which drops February 2. Hop below the jump to determine whether you yourself will be picking up a copy.

Personally, we’ll be just fine if we never have to hear “Who I Am” (the song, that is) again. Like—ever. After all, hearing it once is pretty much equivalent to having the song on a continuous loop for about six hours.

So what do you think of the rest? Does Does Prince have anything to be shuddering in his designer platform boots about?

    *cough*

So. In more interesting news, Joe is starting to work on side stuff, also, with rock-ballad artists closer to his own age & style. It's all over his adorable new Twitter (@JoeJonas). No offense to Nick's admirable efforts, but that material could be MUCH more my speed.

Actually I don't care for Prince but I do like this preview. After listening to it, I'm preordering the CD. It sounds great. Hopefully people listen to it before starting the comparisons and the judgements.

Well, that was…interesting. More interesting then I expected it to be given that IMO Nick is not quite as amazing as he thinks he is. But then, I've been fooled by leaked previews of Jonas Brothers releases before into thinking that the CD is more exciting than it turns out to be (Lines, Vines & Trying Times–I'm looking at you). Thing is, a little of Nick goes a long way, so a lot of Nick will go…6 hour continuous loop was how you put it? I concur.

I really have to question why the Jonas Brothers don't seem to understand that they pack the strongest talent, charisma and excitement punch as a group of three, not as single artists?
