David Guetta’s anxious track “Missing You,” featuring Novel on vocals, was a slept-on gem from the DJ/producer’s One Love album, but now a new collaboration from the pair that’s likely to generate a far bigger buzz has surfaced.

The unreleased “Hero” is a more understated affair than some of Grammy-nominated Guetta’s recent efforts—particularly the sleazy Akon track “Nosy Neighbor.” That said, sometimes less is more, and you have to wonder why this mellow dance jam didn’t make the cut for the album. Maybe in the end there just weren’t enough references to hoes peeling off lingerie in front of the window.
