While Adam Lambert took a brief break from singing in order to talk shop with other musicians on the Grammy red carpet, his American Idol cohorts Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta performed some of their singles for AOL Sessions. Catch the Idol alum singing “Live Like We’re Dying” and “Friday I’ll Be Over You” after the jump.

“Live Like We’re Dying” is really growing on us, and we’re not alone: the song is slowly but surely climbing the charts, and now sits at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100. And we’re just glad the gravel-voiced Allison, who came in fourth place, hasn’t vanished into Idol obscurity.
The two singers will reunite on-stage this Friday with Lambert (who recently tweeted about his own upcoming AOL Sessions) in Ryan Seacrest’s Ryan, Rock My Town concert at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. For now, watch Kris and Allison perform a few other tracks from their debut albums over at AOL Sessions.

Wow. So much fail here. Lambert also recorded AOL sessions. A simple google would have told you that. They're just not released yet. And Kris didn't record his while Adam was at the Grammy's but weeks before Christmas! Thus the inclusion of the Xmas song.
That said, Allison sounds amazing. OMG. Such power in her voice! Girl deserves a hit.
Kris sounds great. Beautiful voice. Only kris can make O Holy Night sound sexy
All three of these artists had already recorded the sessions but they were held up by legal issues. Hopefully Adam's will be out really soon.

Loved Allison's Sessions and can't wait to see her and Adam Lambert on Friday in NYC. His AOL Sessions should be up soon – I have no idea why it takes so long – Kris' were done in December and just now showed up?
