Selena Gomez Backstreet Boys I Want It That WaySelena Gomez is no stranger to paying tribute to some of her music icons during her live gigs. And, granted, we’re a little late to the Disney doll’s cover of Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” which she’s been performing since last fall. But seeing her duet with 23-year-old drummer Greg Garman on the tune at New York City’s Gramercy Theater last night is just too much OMG-tweentasticness to not post below.

Now, maybe Selena’s putting in a not-so-subtle bid to work with Swedish pop wizard Max Martin, because she also covered Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” at the show.

True to her Disney roots, Selena sang different lyrics during the naughty bit in the first verse. Well, either that or she couldn’t remember the exact line. The audience got it right, though.
