Sade Horses Around With Wanda Sykes

Over half a million people bought Sade’s latest album Soldier Of Love in its first week of release. So since lead singer Sade Adu doesn’t have a dead horse on her hands in need of a flogging, she decided to whip a live one on The Wanda Sykes Show Saturday night. Now, now. Stop dialing PETA and put phone down—it was all in the name of comedy. Head below to watch Ms. Adu give Wanda the brush-off and a (fake) horse a light thrashing.

Good stuff. It was a nice break from seeing the band perform “Soldier Of Love” (not that there’s anything wrong with the song) on the TV circuit. Plus, who knew Sade Adu had such a humorous side?

That said, if you haven’t yet caught Sade doing the title track off their latest LP, check out their appearances on The Today Show, The Late Show With David Letterman, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
