Snoop Dogg And Kid Cudi Climb “That Tree”

Aside from the new “We Are The World,” it’s been a couple months since we’ve heard from Snoop Dogg—though, trust us, his take on How The Grinch Stole Christmas! on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in December left quite a lasting impression.

The Doggfather will actually be back with a juiced up version of his latest album Malice N Wonderland—titled More Malice—on March 23. After the jump: hear the Snoop/Kid Cudi collabo “That Tree” from the upcoming special edition.

Now, on one hand, doesn’t it seem kind of soon to be issuing a re-release of Malice, considering it dropped only two months ago? Then again, maybe the sly Dogg is going for the obvious and trying to capitalize on the March release of Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland.

At any rate, MTV’s Buzzworthy Blog notes that “That Tree” was produced by Major Lazer beatmaster Diplo, who’s recently been lending his able hands to Robyn’s new album.

Perhaps the strangest factor with this jam is that, despite its title and Snoop’s penchant for keeping it “green,” the chorus seems to have nothing to do with marijuana.

Wonderland, indeed.
