John Mayer Continues Image Damage Control By Sucking Up To An 11-Year Old

Picture 1John Mayer is really serious about winning back the favor of the public. At his concert this past weekend at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Mayer invited an 11-year old fan up on stage to jam with him on his song “Belief.” See? Good things happen, John, if you use your power for good instead of evil. Watch the adorable duet below.

The talented young kid, Austin (whose good enough to be the guitar-playing equivalent of Justin Bieber if he grew his hair out), was reportedly holding a sign reading, “Can I please play ‘Belief’ with you?” John spotted him in the crowd and won brownie points with the world by indulging in a little kid’s dream to play with his idol. Not only that, John gave the young boy the guitar as a souvenir.

See, Mayer haters? He’s nice to kids, if not his ex-girlfriends. Or members of the press. Or puppies.

The ONLY reason there would be Mayer “haters” is because of uber-leftist sites like this one harping on the imagined and otherwise non-existant and totally false belief that he actually DID something wrong. Which he didn't, unless it's now become “politically incorrect” to speak what is on ones mind, regardless of how OTHERS may MISINTERPRET what was said as something “mean-spirited”, “racist” or “homophobic”, which as is intended by the Hugo Chavez/Thought Police types comprises pretty much ALL of the spoken language.

This is proof, as if any was needed to begin with, of how “being offended” is a PERSONAL CHOICE and nothing more, so thus if ANYONE is offended by ANYTHING anyone else may say, regardless of the fact that what was said WAS NOT INTENDED AS A PERSONAL DICTUM TOWARDS ANYONE ELSE, therefore making it that person's OWN PROBLEM and a problem that said person needs to keep to themselves because, outside of the “journalists” here at Idolator as well as those in the Obama Administration who's abject intellecual dishonesty is mind-numbing at best, have WAY too much free time on their hands and really need to get honest, fulfilling lives and above all, they need to MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS.

Sadly, in your haste to paint Mayer as some sort of “racist/homophobe”, by claiming he's “sucking up” to the little guitarist, you have intimated that the eleven year old is somehow unworthy of being called upon, thus now YOU'VE become “mean-spirited” “insensitive” and whichever other words that you hear coming out of seven year olds on a playground rather than the “adults” you claim yourselves to be.

Pathetic. Sad, but so VERY true…

Wow, thirteenburn. Could that have been more incoherent AND crazy? No wonder you're defending that douche-bag, John Mayer. Like definitely attracts like.
