Nine times out of ten, Shakira’s videos involve sex. Or at least being sexy. Thankfully, the Colombian diva’s new clip for “Gypsy” has both elements. The intricate plot involves Shakira roaming the desert in skimpy garb, meeting up with a jeans and T-shirt type dude (played by Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal) and bedding down with him on the ground. Watch the sandy romp below.

The “Gypsy” music video was directed by Jaume de Laiguana. “I thought that maybe I needed someone I could in some way identify with. And Rafael Nadal is a person who has been totally committed to his career since he was very young, since he was 17, I believe,” Shakira said of her hunky co-star, as quoted by MTV Australia.

Ah. “Committed to his career.” That’s why she sought him out. Shakira, doll, you can’t fool us. Those hips don’t lie.
