Nicki Minaj really gets around, and not just in her worldwide search for her precious punk monkey (not a euphemism, we swear). After collaborating with Ludacris, Robin Thicke, Young Money, and Mariah Carey (the list goes on!), the brazen, Barbie-obsessed rapper sent over a verse for the remix of Jason Derulo’s “In My Head.” The remix adds little besides a new synth but Nicki’s joke about Tiger Woods is worth a listen:

You have to love the way Nicki neatly pokes at some of the issues raised by crossing genres (“do a pop song to stack my Caucasians”) but her rhymes are as clever as ever. Still, there are hardly any differences between the remixed “In My Head” and the original — in fact, we’d barely know it was a remix if not for Nicki’s rap and the robotic voice explicitly telling us “This is the remix.”  This song has been out for so long already, we’re wondering why they even bothered to throw Minaj on the faux-mix.

Is it because Minaj is one of the most wanted guest rappers in music right now, and Jason needs some extra sizzle? His debut album failed to make the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200, so any extra attention he can muster would be a smart move. May we suggest filming a remix video with Nicki wearing this outfit?
