Good news for Jamie Cullum—it’s a great time to have a Rihanna cover out as a single, since the “Rude Boy” songstress just happened to nab her  sixth #1 hit this week. Jazzy British piano man Cullum hit up The Ellen DeGeneres Show today to perform his own rendition of Ri Ri’s 2007 dancefloor smash “Don’t Stop The Music.” Watch below!

Bravo, Jamie. That was an excellent, fresh take on that jam. The only thing that would have made this performance better is if Bridget The Midget came flying out from backstage to give Ellen a lap dance while this was all going on. Sigh. Maybe next time.

Cullum’s version of “Don’t Stop The Music” is his second single of the London-based singer’s fifth album The Pursuit.
