Could the Jeremy Rall-directed music video for “Reverse Cowgirl”—T-Pain’s sexy ode to women taking the reins—possibly be any more subtle? Let’s see: a wine glass full of cherries dropping to the floor and smashing? Check. Women being splashed with red paint? Check. Rose petals blowing in the breeze? Check. Also, if you thought Pain’s Auto-Tuned vocals were out of control on “We Are The World 25,” well, he practically sounds like a robot on this jam. (Maybe he should hook up with Robyn?) Oh, T-Pain—”Reverse Cowgirl” is such an artistic visual experience, and one that’s a far cry from the straight-forward co-ed strip fest that was “Take Your Shirt Off.” (By the way, we’re praying for a Kidz Bop version of both.) But damn, dude—we kind of miss the days when we could actually sort of hear your voice, like on “Buy U A Drank.” Anymore it just sounds like you gargled with microchips before stepping up to the mic.
