    American Idiot: The Musical
Adam could competently play any one of the three main leads, but he would be perfect in the featured role as St. Jimmy, the androgynous, electric companion of Johnny (aka The Jesus of Suburbia) who ushers him down the glamorous path of destruction in the big city. If this were to be Adam’s first dip into movies, it would be a smart move—St. Jimmy is a scene-stealing role, but it wouldn’t require him to carry the whole movie. /

Adam would be great in Jesus Christ Superstar!!! He wants to play Judias. Frankly Adam could do any play he wanted and do it well – with a voice like that plus he is an amazing performer, but IMO he is pure magic in concert so I hope he goes on tour now and does plays or movies later.

Adam should be in a movie remake of Rocky Horror Picture show. That would be brilliant!!

Let's face it. Lambert would be fabulous in any or all of the above. Never seen anyone so talented in so many areas. He could be at the top in singing, acting, modeling, dancing—-seems to genuinely have it all. And with all that talent, he is humble, sweet, so likable. I think I'm addicted. Somebody help me out of this dream. Wait, I don't want to leave.

Adam Lambert said in an interview, recently, that his favourite musical is/was
“Jesus Christ Superstar” & that he's like to play Jesus. in that musical. And I
agree that Adam could play just about any role & do it well ! I can't get enough
of his voice & talent. And he is so witty, charming & intelligent & fun to watch as
he performs & in interviews. The interview & performance at the TV station in
Tokyo was so G O O D !!!! Also amusing!! Adam is just so brilliant !

Another musical Adam would be great in is “We Will Rock You”, which features music by Queen. The show itself is kind of cheesy but I have seen it twice in London and the audience LOVES the show. By the end, everyone is on their feet, clapping, dancing and singing along and Adam would kill in this show.

Quentin Tarantino must direct an updated version of “Jesus Christ Superstar” and cast Adam as Judas. Other cast suggestions include Lady Gaga as Mary Magdalene, Jack Black as Herod and Christoph Waltz as Pilate (he has opera training!). The music still rocks and I think it would be a huge hit especially because Adam is in it. The 70's movie version is good but seems so cheesy now.

Yes, Adam would be outstanding as Judas in JCS, but also great as The Phantom in Phantom of the Opera with that spectacular voice. The only problems is — I wouldn't want to see half of his gorgeous face covered up with the mask!

Also, could they do a remake of Brigadoon and cast him in the part he sang in his early twenties? That recording (Come to Me, Bend to Me) is achingly beautiful. I challenge anyone who doesn't like Adam to listen to it (available on youtube). You will change your mind, I guarantee!

Unfortunately, there already was a Phantom of the Opera movie. Fortunately, it sucked, and Hollywood loves remaking movies that were just remade.

Did he say Jesus or Judas? Judas is definitely the better part, in my musical-theatre-geek opinion.

I would like to see Adam as Flash Gordon, his hair is very light naturally, and he has the blue eyes, and the body for it.

Actually, (Acadamy award nominated director) Rob Marshall (Chicago, Nine, etc…) said he is interested in directing Jesus Christ Superstar sometime in 2011 and was VERY interested in Adam playing either Jesus or Judas. He leaned more towards Judas though because he said the role called for a greater singing range that he thought Adam could pull off easily.

I personally think he'd make a better Judas myself just on him looking the role (dark hair, features) alone. Not to mention the Judas role may be a lot juicier and more in line with roles Adam said he'd like to play in True Blood, Gossip Girl, Weeds, etc…

The JCS role would be something that I would LOVE to see! And that the WORLD needs to see. Gay guys can be bad guys too! Not every homosexual we see on the small or large screen has to be a pink polo wearing, broadway bound, chorus line Glee character. This is one more of the many populations of our society that needs to be portrayed in the media with Depth and Diversity. “Swish it up a bit!”
