Have a morbid curiosity to hear the original version of Jennifer Lopez flop “Louboutins,” before Mrs. Marc Anthony got her mitts on it? Well then you’ve come to the right place. Turns out the Dream and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart-produced jam was originally intended for Brandy, who recorded a rough version of it before she was dropped by Epic. Alas, “Louboutins” appears to be the kiss of death, as Lopez’s version (and subsequent failure to dent the Hot 100) brought about her removal from the Epic roster, as well. Jlo definitely owned it. But at the end of the day the song just wasn't good. Brandy's version was boring La Lopez put more into it.

Honestly You need to think about Millions of people who love the song.. We cant Just sit still and let U.S charts bring the song down… J-lo is international….. They Know of her aLL OVER the World Not just U.S… example who is not world wide yet.. “lady gaga” “Justin gaybieber” “Taylor Swift” J-lo is KNOWN EVERY WHERE… I love this song to death i mean it is one of those song that gets stuck in your head and REPEAT…. Honestly she made a great song it don't matter what Haters think.. and what goes for the NAsty version Brandy sang OMG OMG… like i would live the rest of my life with NEEDING to hear that crap… she SUCKS BALLZ, her voice is like edited and cropped and changed she sounds like lady gaga but in robot mix of way…. Louboutins is Not about Shoes it what the concept the song has, I love the Lyrics, she did a good job i give Props for it. I love J-lo keep rocking… The leaked singles i heard were amazing love them.. The album Love? is going to be hit i know it.. 2010 is your year hun.. as for brandy's please we don't want you in the recording studio with that robotic voice thanks :)… J-lo we love you :)
you cant compare jennifer lopez to brandy. Jennifer lopez is an amazing singer/actress/fashion model and is way more known than brandy. I think J.Lo's version is better. She's feeling the rhythm, and helps energize it, from start to finish. Good job.
Brandy was fine with the first stanza, but her performance fell off the rest of the way; it was perfunctory She put nothing into it.
Who wins? Brandy is not a 'dance' genre artist, but 'dance/techno' is J.Lo's signature sound if she's not fusing Latin flavor! So J.Lo win hands down. Even the song ” Love, SEx & magic” by Ciara .feat. Justin Timberlake should be J.Lo stuff. Each time i hear that song I imagine J.Lo in my head dancing to that song like it's nobody's business!

Brandy is a singer, JLo is a studio creation. Brandy's version was 10 x better, from the verses to the chorus. JLo's version got really boring. Brandy's voice is a better quality. JLo may have the glamour and the dancing, but Brandy has the voice. If you don't believe me, try listening to JLo live! Chica can't sing! She better thank God for that booty because that is what got her where she is and of course using Puffy to get famous (and then dropping him)! If people were blindfolded and no one knew who was singing and you listened to both versions, I know Brandy would win. Of course people are going to pick the personality they like better, not the singer who was actually better and JLo fans would never admit her version was weak.

Brandy owned the song and she WAS perfect for the song, thats why The Dream and Tricky came up with the song with her on the brain! And you dumb fucks, Brandy still has backgrounds on JLo version because Jen just can not bring a song to life. She ruined both songs Brandy recorded FIRST. I kinda like J-Lo but Brandy did not put any effort into the song and did better. J just gets the attention that B really deserves. I really like J and LL and Play but J is not a singer for real, she is an good actress for me.
