Geez—here we were two weeks ago commenting on what a sweet, romantic jam Drake’s new single “Find Your Love” is, and now he has to go and unveil a completely dark music video for the song. In the Anthony Mandler-directed clip, Bamboozle thriller Drake goes barking up the wrong tree with a taken girl in Jamaica, and winds up tied to a chair with a gun to his head. And in typical noir fashion, it’s the girl who’s squeezing the trigger. Watch below.

That is one grim video accompanying such an upbeat song. Guess the moral of the story is that if you’re going to find your love in Jamaica, make sure that it doesn’t come with a firearm-toting gang leader attached.

“Find Your Love” is produced by Kanye West, and is the second single from Drake’s upcoming debut album Thank Me Later (due out June 15—barring any more delays.)
