Lady Gaga was among the performers at Sting’s 21st annual Rainforest Fund concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall last night. Other singers included Elton John (who teamed with Gaga to reprise their duet of “Speechless” and “Your Song”), Mary J. Blige, Bruce Springsteen, Dame Shirley Bassey and Debbie Harry. Decked out in a white hoop skirt, Gaga sat at the piano and banged out a cover of “Stand By Me,” with Sting joining her on the second verse and a full string section accompanying them. The night was capped off by the entire group of performers taking the stage together for a rousing rendition of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Watch after the jump!
Lady Gaga and Sting — “Stand By Me” Sting leans down and gives his young piano-playing duet partner a kiss at the end. Awwww.

Debbie Harry seemed to be giving Lady Gaga the cold shoulder. Man, these old guard divas really feel threatened by her, huh?
Hey Ricky, didn’t pick up on that, but will watch again. I know that Debbie complimented Gaga (seemingly, unless it was backhanded) in a recent dual interview in Spin with her and Alison Goldfrapp:

Sting + Elton + Gaga, a good combination for a super show… I like when famous musicians are jamming… it makes the concert more surprising!
gaga is a tranny!
So if someone isn’t kissing Gaga’s feet, then it must automatically mean that they hate her and are threatened by her? Jeez, reaching much?
Why don’t posts end up as replies when I want them to?
