Eminem fans appeared to be a little taken aback when a photo of the “Not Afraid” rapper with teen star Justin Bieber surfaced last week, but maybe they’ll find some happy distraction in Em’s cover art for forthcoming album Recovery. Actually, make that dual cover art, as there are two different versions. Peep them below!
Slim appears on the first cover as a lonely wanderer, traveling away from the owner of the record down a desolate road at what appears to be either dawn or dusk. Do you have what it takes to follow?
On the second sleeve, we see Em alone again, this time on display in a glass room while reading a book. (Could it be an advance copy of this?) As we know, the rapper often throws jabs out at other artists in his rhymes. And you know that old saying about throwing stones when you live in a glass house…?
Recovery is due out June 22. Which sleeve to you prefer?

Talk about a drama queen sheesh, its always more of the same with him and how can someone be so angry all the time anyways?
Robbie,
Sometimes I feel as if my words have a mind of their own, appearing and disappearing, as it were, for no apparent reason. It does not matter to me. Because once they are in the world they are on their own, and are capable of taking care of themselves.
Short answer to the questions: depends, huh, vaguely, and neither. Oh, I forgot the comment, to which I respond, easy, try it. (How now, Ke$ha?)
My father lost his mind, and freedom, the same night. Or so I was told. One of the last times I talked to him, he called me by my younger brother’s name. No accounting for taste, they say. I did not get to see him before he died. Sometimes you wait too long.
You say, “Which sleeve to you prefer?,” and I say, “Generally speaking, the one which has something up it, if by “to” you mean “do.” I do.
The problem with both sleeves is that Marshall appears alone. I say, “You Are Not Alone,” but Patty Griffin sings it better. Love that girl and joy to her. It amazes me that anyone would want to pretend that they could recover from some things all alone. It does not happen. Often, you need children to help you. They are honest, in the best sense of that term, and will not lie to you, when you need them to be honest. At least, that is my experience with all the children I know. I was wondering about children I know tonight, and why I do not see them? Must have been something I did. Oh, well.
So, if I had my way, I would have you try again. Listen to “All Kinds of Roses,” by Yusuf Islam, and you will see the sleeve “Recovery” requires. No kidding. The song is dope. It belongs on the soundtrack for the most important kid’s movie. Maybe the friends I have lost will see it, remember I sang it with them, before we knew the Pirate Princess, and recall to their mind’s our joy. Maybe not. In a sense, it does not matter, because we learned love together, and as I learned from them, and they learned from me, we will be in one another always, because that is the nature of love. Tah-Dah.
Joy to you, Rose.
what a crying bitch you are, no one cares what you think
