At the end the first episode of Natalia Kills’ Love, Kills xx video mini series, the British singer announced, “This is a backstage pass to my imagination.” Now we’ve got a more intimate look into her mind for you, via her own exclusive commentary on the 1970s exploitation film-inspired episode 5 (which premiered yesterday). Hop below to listen to her give the behind-the-scenes scoop on her first Love, Kills xx episode to appear in color.

Last month we featured Natalia in our ongoing Poppping Up series, where she discussed Love, Kills xx, and her appreciation for cinema in general. “It’s a collection of three-minute episodes of artistic visuals—me being myself but in unusual situations,” the singer explained. “I feel life is our own personal movie, and we are each the star, so with my album I wanted to make the soundtrack to my life, to my dreams and disappointments.” (Read the full Idolator interview here.)

Natalia is signed to Cherrytree Records, who are currently riding high on the iTunes singles chart with two Top 10 singles (La Roux’s “Bulletproof” at #6 and Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” at #7).
