Rihanna Gives A Show Of Girl-On-Girl Power In Her “Te Amo” Video

So this is why we got Rihanna’s “Rockstar 101” as a single release in lieu of “Te Amo” here in America! In the lyrics, RiRi warns her female pursuer, “Listen, we can dance but you gotta watch your hands.” However, in the Anthony Mandler-directed music video, Rihanna is, shall we say, very hands-on with her lady friend. Watch below—and be warned that “Te Amo” is probably NSFW.

Rihanna writhes and wriggles all alone in a French castle, with no one to love her. (Sniff—brings a tear to the eye.) But, hark! Along comes a raven-haired beauty to satiate our Barbadian pop diva’s needs. And, oh—the sating that goes down, from dusk till dawn.

“Te Amo” was produced by Stargate, who also swizzed up Ne-Yo’s “Beautiful Monster” and Alexis Jordan’s “Happiness.” The Norwegian production team were also behind the boards for Rihanna’s “Unfaithful”, “Please Don’t Stop The Music”, “Hate That I Love You” and her recent #1 “Rude Boy.”

Do you think “Te Amo” should have been a single in the States?
