“Money Can’t Buy You Class” But It Can Buy You A Music Video

Countess LuAnn De Lesseps, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New York, has taken her vanity-fueled foray into music one step further: she now has a vacuous music video to go with her vacuous single “Money Can’t Buy You Class”. It even has a concept: the video expands on the lyric “elegance is learned (my friends)”, trailing the Countess as she offers lessons in elegance to to a group of attractive young men. LuAnn straightens up a young hunk’s tie, takes away the cellphone of a gentleman who’s texting on a “date” (an elegance no-no), and swaps out the beer bottles of her young squires for champagne flutes. Yes, that’ll teach ’em. Watch what some are calling the best video of 2010 below.

If you could describe someone as looking “visually auto-tuned”, that would pretty much sum up LuAnn’s look for this clip.

Here’s Luann in the studio recording her song on The Real Housewives Of New York. We can’t put our finger on it, but does something seem a bit different about the Countess in this video.
