Enrique Iglesias may have come in second to Diddy-Dirty Money in our Album Cover Throwdown last week, but the Spanish heartthrob has moved on to bigger and better things—mainly the music video for his first English language single off Euphoria, “I Like It.” The clip for the RedOne-produced song features Pitbull, a lot of Auto Tune and the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore (sure, why not?). Watch below!
All we can say is JWoww! This Jersey’d-up version of “I Like It” was directed by David Rousseau, and the song will appear on the soundtrack to the hit MTV series (released July 20).
Enrique’s Euphoria is out July 5. And Snooki’s Bumpit? Timeless, friends. Timeless.
And hats off to Pitbull for featuring on both this song, which interpolates Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long (All Night),” and Alexandra Burke’s “All Night Long.” Wonder if he plans this stuff?
Is this song a joke? I really can’t tell. I know the video is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, but the vocal distortion is the worst i’ve heard in a longgggg time. He doesn’t even need it.
This song would be Enrique’s best chance at re-entering American radio in almost a decade if it weren’t for the poor vocal mix. Shame on whoever made that decision.
