We’re tipping our hats to Christina Aguilera at this point, who truly does appear to be a bionic woman. The singer strutted onto Live! With Regis And Kelly—marking her first ever appearance on the morning talk show—and belted out an impressive rendition of “Not Myself Tonight.” This, of course, follows her appearances on the Today Show, Fuse TV and Late Night With David Letterman so far this week. Billboard reported yesterday that early estimates for sales of Bionic have it coming in next week with sales of 100,000 to 120,000—just behind this past Tuesday’s other big releases, Glee‘s Journey To Regionals EP and the Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack—but the industry publication notes that Xtina’s flurry of TV appearances in recent days could just boost her figures when all is said and done.
Really hoping Bionic pulls in some decent numbers next week, shes been performing the hell out of these songs and just doesn’t seem to be getting the credit she deserves.
Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
People seem to forget Stripped didn’t debut at number one and it is a classic one that I love. Crtics didn;t like either but it was a huge success in it’s own way. She is very verstile with her voice and I like that Christina changes it up. Her Bionic album is one of the best albums so far this year. Christina sure does get alot bashing but in the end she will win when she will get nominated for the song You lost Me around grammy time!! I loved her performance on David Letterman You lost me. That is to me one of the big songs from this album it’s what Beautiful was on her Stripped album. Maybe Glee producation will eventally do a segement on Christina as she does change her imagine alot too. Rock on Christina your amazing no matter what other say about. You keep proving them wrong. Count me in to watch your movie when it comes too=) Good for Christina not moving her album date just becuase Glee and Twilight CD is out. Come on media whores did you not see that even Robert Pattinson was hiding out in Christina’s home. So it’s a win win situation for Christina!! You go girl!! Keep rockin and don’t let negative peopel get to you!
