Get Starry-Eyed With B.o.B And Hayley Williams’ “Airplanes” Video

As far as elaborate sets in music videos go, the one for B.o.B and Hayley Williams’ “Airplanes” errs on the side of, shall we say, modest. (Maybe the “Nothin’ On You” cash has yet to roll in?) Still, there are some nice lighting effects that add a bit of literal weight to Williams’ “airplanes in the night sky are shooting stars” line. Watch Bobby Ray’s new video after the jump.

“Airplanes” was shot in May, though Hayley and B.o.B managed to not cross paths. “We’ve never met in person,” Williams told MTV last month ahead of the shoot. “We’ve talked on Twitter, and he’s really cool. We’ll never meet.”

The song is currently parked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 (though it managed to peak at #2 a couple weeks back).

As for B.o.B, in addition to him tweeting this morning that Beach House is currently his favorite band, he also enlightened the Twittersphere with this bit of information yesterday: “Crabs in a bucket….fuck it….”
