Coldplay Hop On The ‘Glee’ Bandwagon

Good news! Or bad news, depending on your opinion of Coldplay—the British rock band has allowed Glee access to their entire catalog of music. Creator Ryan Murphy says that after the band first denied the show the rights to their songs, “Coldplay called a week ago and said, ‘We’re sorry, you can have our catalog.'” Can we expect New Directions to bust out a version of “Viva La Vida” even more theatrical than the original? Regardless of how you feel about the band (whom are already at work on their fifth album), you have to admit their songs are a much better fit than the Courtney Love episode Murphy was considering.
