FRIDAY VIDEO TIME: The Highly Subjective Totally Debatable List Of The Best Songs That Start With The Letter “K”

June 18th, 2010 // 3 Comments

It’s “Friday Video Time”, that special day of the week again when we honor the top songs over the last 50 years that start with a specific letter of the alphabet. This week we move on to the letter “K”. Our list this Friday is “kickin’” and “killer”, but we’ve left off MGMT’s “Kids” because at this point that would just be overkill. See what artists did earn a spot in our “K” collection by clicking below. We love hearing your thoughtful comments (even when you disagree with us) and your personal music picks, so keep ‘em coming. Don’t forget, we’ll be doing the letter “L” next Friday.

60′s – “Kick Out The Jams” – MC5

70′s – “Killer Queen” – Queen

80′s – “Kyrie” – Mr. Mister

90s – “Killing Me Softly” – The Fugees

00′s – “Kick Push” – Lupe Fiasco

  1. Kat

I would totally change the 80′s to Kiss by Prince. I mean, Prince! Who’s Mr. Mister?

  2. Hey Kat,
Don’t worry we’ll definitely be including the Purple One next week in the “L’s”!

  3. I still think “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse should be on this list, Erika. I will pillow fight you to the death on this one! ;)
