Last week you heard David Archuleta’s new dance-pop jam “Something ‘Bout Love,” and now the American Idol Season 7 runner-up has revealed the cover art for the single. (Click “More” at the bottom of this post to see the full image.) The song was originally slated to be released on Archuleta’s site on July 13, but the date has been changed to July 20 “because David wants to give his fans WAY more than just a single, and needed an extra week to do it…” And that something extra, Archie followers, is the option to pre-order his new album and receive the single as an instant download. Are you crushing yet?

Great cover art. Thank you Matt Clayton (the photographer of David’s album shoot). Looks like this photo was early, before the Coney Island attractions were open. I love the blue! And of course David eyes :)
Matt Clayton posted a letter saying he wasn’t the album cover photographer and he was on set, “but used in a different capacity”. He said we won’t be disappointed with the results. He described the guy as a “much better photographer whose work I greatly admire”
MATT: we’re not disappointed at all. If the single pic is any indication, we might not survive the rest. Oh and Matt, I love your work too.
